617turbo in a 190

Question from a new person on this list.
I have looked through the list and have not found anything about this. Has anybody put a 617turbo into a 190 e. I have a 190e with a five speedthat I would like to build up.
Thanks , Josh

physically

i am sure it would fit. but it is an earlier generation motor and i suspect it might cause legal problems in some states, and wiring and other things will be more likely to have interface problems. also i am not sure of the weight. it may be heavier than the 603 which was offered only one year in the 190. better i think to look for a 602 with a complete rough car to swap over. if you happen to have a good 617 maybe sell it or trade it for the 602.

my $.02

the 602 us the five that followed the 617

it is 2.5 liters and most commonly found with a turbo. the 603 is pretty much identical except with six cyl.

yeah, arent those 617 s something?
