Not to bad really 05 was a pretty light year. 04 was the worst so far. As far as dollar cost for all this I am not sure maybe $2kish, whatever it doesn't matter.

2006 is starting off pretty good. I just spent $425 for sunroof parts and a paint job is on the horizen, but other then that 06 should be a light year on projects. I just need to replace some front end bushings and do rear discs and maybe rebuilt calipers. Along with lifters and timing chain. Ohh and the cruise control amp needs to be rebuilt along with a bunch of new heater hoses. Thats really about it.

I want to have everything finished by the cars 20th birthday in 2007. I hope to celebrate by driving it all over the country.

you are crazier than me, and that ain't easy! Keep up the good work on your fine machine. I gotta do the sunroof bit on mine this year too. Wasn't any fun on the SEL and I don't expect it to be much easier on the SDL. Trouble is, I expect wife's SL to eat up a lot of the available project funds this year. Needs a top among other things. I have a new trunk gasket sitting onhte shwlf waiting for me. I going to have to repair a bit of rust and a split in the steel under it. That will be no fun with or without welding.
