35MPG, and only $8000? Those flossies must do a whole lot more than just sit there on the heck looking good.
Jeez.

Near show quality? With a missing star and a dent in the fender? HA! Look at that sun beaten cluster. Needs adjustments to the belts? This owner doesn't have a clue what kind of condition it is in. If they were qualified to judge, they would be ablt to adjust the belts. Near horror show quality, maybe.

I have seen this before...... w110 finbody diesels have cult following of their own, often among old timers who've owned em for more than 30 years. Eccentric owners will swear to God these are the best cars ever built. Nobody can convince em the worst acceleration on earth makes these primitive diesels scarcely drivable on modern roads.
Try shopping around for one of these ancient and primitive diesels, and if you discover them in original condition then you will find the owners tend to be lunatics, old crazies stubborn as mules impossible to separate from their 52hp diesels without paying a king's ransom. |
