won't shut off when you turn the key to the off position and when you go and push the shut off lever it won't turn off still had to put it in gear and stall it.

anyther pain is when you go to turn the key back on sometimes it won't let you turn it why????

your cylinder for the ingintion could be going.. and the shut off problem is most likely a vacuum leak in the system and your linkages for the stop lever are not to correct length like mine..

Theres a vacuum shut off switch on the aft end of the injector pump, round, with a brown vac line going to it. with the car running apply some vac to that switch (Mity-Vac or just such suck on it)....If the engine wont shut down, your switch is bad. Thats what I check first and its free (switch is around $40 tho)

my dad owner of the freebee 240D ... pluged another vacumeline in and it shut off...

umm needs a vacume line scimatic... the haynes manual has jack all for one
