OT: Top Gear video of Toyota diesel truck

Probably should post this in Open Discussion, but have a look. Takes a full 16 minutes or so, but you won't believe what they do to this old Toyo pickup!

This is the worst video I have ever seen

Because as I sat here watching this, I am looking out my window having evil thoughts of what I can try with my 04 Tundra...
I knew these were great trucks, but damn....

damn..........

Thanks for the show Chris. Loved it.
Had an old Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 back in HS. Beat the tar out of it daily. But nothing like that!!

All I can say after watching that: "Look out eBay. Here I come."

Thanks again Chris.

I really like Episode 2 where they lay out Kalifornias emissions plans up to 1999.

"40% of cars, 70% of trucks, All Buses
To run 'clean' fuels by 1999" A plan to buy up all the old polluting vehicles in one swoop and scrap them all.

I love watching old shows with plans for the future and laughing at how WAY FAR off they came to be!

"...and if the number starts with an 0836 it is a mobile phone *thunk*"

Brilliant clip.

That bit at the end where they brought the tower block down had a lot of sentimental value. I grew up around Rachel Point and Hackney Downs Park.
