Installing Katmac Euro Lights from Ebay ***DUW***

Hey guys,
I picked up a set of Euros for Rag Doll (my 83 W123 300D Turbo)last week and I'm installing them, but there seems to be some problems putting them in. The existing hardware (screws, cage nuts etc) are not sufficient to do the job, i.e. not long enough, not big enough...I also have to get a non turbo washer bottle because the euros interfere with the turbo style washer bottle, which he told me after I emailed the seller to complain. I wish the guy selling these would have disclosed this!!!! At least he is working with me for now, but the seller has 100% feedback, so I am hopeful that he will make a good faith attempt to settle this. The ad says it included 'everything you need to install!' nope. The screws for the side that were on the car are too short to fit the new light housing, and the cage nut is too short to reach the hole where the euros mount up.

Here is is partially installed.
The mount closest to the radiator is going to need different fasteners and I'm not sure what do to there. The Clip nut isnt long enough to reach the hole.

Has anyone else had any luck installing these?

Thanks
Dub

you need to pry out the screw retaining nut spring things that you unscrewed your U.S. headlights from on the radiator side and move them to the inner square holes that are empty. As for the side screws, I had some longer ones on hand, maybe you could just go to the hardware store? Good luck.

I put KatMacs on my 300SDL

...and it went quite smoothly. No issues at all.

Although now I see I have lost a low beam on the driver side. New bulb already...

How NOT to buy a MB Diesel:
Know little or nothing about diesels or Mercedes Benz.
Get the WVO fever.
Drive 70 miles to a used car lot in the country.
Buy the car without having it inspected, because it seems like a good idea at the time....
I'll be back. I'm gonna need help.
I love this car already!

See my first picture. ITs not long enough to reach the hole.....

So much for advertising "EVERYTHING YOU NEED"

I guess I got lucky. The screws that held in my original headlights were not worth putting back in. I picked up some stainless screws out of the parts bin because the old ones were rusty. The headlights don't touch the washer bottle or the SLS reservour. What exactly does a turbo washer bottle look like? I have a turbo and the washer bottle fits nicely.
