Door locks stoping and cant get into trunk! normal?
Not long after i started driving my 83 300 SD the door locks quit. Then i noticed that the trunk would not open even with the key. I pulled the fuse for the lock system and it freed the trunk lid. When i put the fuse back the locks wouldl would work for a few days then do the same thing. I pulled the wire off the vaccum motor for the locks so now they are manual. I know the cars can be plauged with vaccum problems but is the trunk situation normal?

Maybe some moisture or something is shorting out the fuse?

The key should bypass the vac system incase of malfunction. In a W123 you turn the key all the way CCW until it hits the stop (around 8 oclock) and push in.

nope!
when the lock system malfuntions the only thing that will get the trunk open is pulling the fuse for the locks.. then it releases

Hmmm, it sounds as if a leak is causing your pump to continue to run intermittently. On the w126, the door locks are a pressure/vacuum system. From what you have posted, the trunk actuator would be the first one I would suspect. An area that I had trouble with was the flex fitting at the pump itself. Both of these are very easy to access for repair.
