cv axle joint grease type?
Much on boot replacement, but I couldn't find a answer to this. I have the kits & the four boots, but I did not receive enough grease in the kits. The manual says to use 230 grams. Can I simply use high temp bearing grease? Does anybody know if the white tube of 8414 Febi 250 gram grease is available separately? Thanks, Paul.

Lubro Molly makes CV joint grease.

I used synthetic blue grease on the joints on a Saab. I only ended up putting about 30K miles on them, but they looked just as good coming out as they did going in.
I wanted to try avoiding using lead-bearing grease in there. I don't know if the Lubro Moly contains lead. |

You can use Amsoil synthetic multi purpose in high speed applications like CV joints. I do not know where you will find the 250 gr Febi.
