Does 83 300SD have motor mount shields ?
My 83 300SD does not currently have shields over the motor mounts
like my 300D. Previous owner says engine has been replaced so I am thinking maybe they left them off. I am going to put new motor mounts and engine shocks in this weekend and do have a spare set of motor mount shields from another 300D. Since they are both 617 engines I am hoping they are the same. Anybody confirm that I am supposed to have sheilds over the motor mounts ?

From the EPC 1983 300SD. Looks like CA and 1985 are different (as always
) . MB shows 'em; I'd put on what you have.
