Fast on a budget. Even if I was wealthy theres no reason to squander it. Its always more fun to squash people who just bought it in a showroom. RT
That's quite a kit. Seems like a good value if you can get it all done for $35K. Lot of time.........however.

Hey, thats what winters for! I figured $40K by the time you are done. Not too bad for a totally unique car that is still easy to get parts for and should stomp almost anything else flat. Besides, I'm known for undertaking ponderous projects and killing myself to get them done, just ask my wife.... RT

I wonder what the market for the Grand Wagoneer resto's is...

It does seem that if they can do that, they could do "new" W123s...

rob,
you'll have to come up to our place in vermont once we're settled.

140 acres, and it came with an old, diesel massey-ferguson with about 80 hours on it.

yeehaw!!

and my dream "car" would be a unimog with one of those dump beds that tips all sorts of ways.

Talking

Most def. I have a friend in Souithern NH with a beutiful mog. he put it in the lowest gear at idle and we got out and stood next to it. You had to really pay attention to determine it was moving. He also has a gamma-goat (milatary beast with 6 wheel drive) he dropped a concrete vault (for a sepptic install) off the back while he was trailering it up his steep dirt driveway. The weight off the back of the gamma gaot rendered it stuck and un steerable. He attached the mog to the front of the whole train and pulled it up his driveway.....his mog has a snow blower he got as a surplus blower from an airport. In the spring he grades his driveway shooting rocks/dirt and leveling all ruts in one pass. yes a mog would certainly be a dream machine.

My uncle had a 65 Chrysler Newport with air. The outlet duct over the tranny hump would just fit and hold a can of beer. 5 minutes and it would be ice cold.
