Potomac German

I got my replacement used diff from Potomac German Auto. They give you a warranty on the used stuff. Not a bad price either. I decided to go with the same gear ratio as the original. Maybe I should have gotten the 2.88 they did have one.

My dealership uses Potomac German. They are really reliable for used parts.

I did notice that my outer boots are beginning to crack, but not too badly, I think I have a few more months, I'll have to get ready to do those...
Inner boots are okay tho..

use the parking brake...

[QUOTE=Got_when you park on a slight incline after you put it in park, it rolls back about a foot before it actually parks. does this on both forward and rearward inclines. .[/QUOTE]

Most all automatic transmissions will display a couple of inches roll when on inclines before the trans actually parks, but a foot is way too much.

If your flex disks and diff are fine then you likely have internal trans problems, park gear also not engaging properly. In either event always use your parking brake to hold the car on inclines, do not apply all the pressure on the park lock in the trans, they can and do fail. Also no sense wearing one out by not using the park brake.

Best of luck

Easier said than done

I would use the park brake, only it doesn't work
I'll fix that along with my rear brakes coming up in the next couple days
