Looked nicer in the picture on the OUTSIDE compared to your 300D...but the interior of yours would be pretty hard to beat |

It was a 220D. Looks like it went fast.

Hi:
A friend and I actually went to look at the yellow 240D in Renton, WA referenced in the start of this thread. http://seattle.craigslist.org/car/135548628.html Communicating with the seller proved to be somewhat problematic, but he eventually provided an address for us. In the time spent prior to going out to look at the car we were all speculating on the origin of the cryptic writing style and peculiar syntax. It turns out that the owner is deaf. The car had a relativley intact interior, but looked like it had been painted with a broom. (The yellow painted hornet's nest in the door jamb was especially telling). It appeared to have stopped running due to an algae infection. The prefilter was black, despite recent replacement. Just thought you folks might want to know the story. Drew |

Sorry
Now I feel bad,
I take back all references to drugs. Pretty amazing how that the lack of hearing translates into that type of written english. I will have to ask my special education professor how that evlolves in their education. Very interesting. As for the paint. With a broom eh? That is pretty amazing.

See thats why I didn't make fun of the person...ya just never know!
Course I make fun of the disabled just as much as I do anyone else who is "fully enabled"....(which BTW is a pretty uncommon sight) Equal oppertunities for all. End up getting the 240D? I am guessing no? |
