Noise encapsulation panels 300sdl needed
Hi all,
I am still looking for a rear noise encapsulation panel for a 1986 300sdl. This is the one that fits under the back of the engine and extends up under the transmission. If anyone has a line on one, please let me know. Thanks John 1986 300sdl 85,000 miles 1967 VW Beetle 146,000 miles restored with A/C 2000 Toyota Camry 2003 Honda Odyssey MBCA member |

Good luck with it... they're hard to find. I have three of the four on my SDL.

Thanks,
I actually found a dealer in California, Caliber Motors that can find one but the price brand new is outrageous. I have the side panels in place and the thermostatic shutters still work, and I have the front panel in place. I would love to find the rear panel with out spending $400 I only paid 3500 for the car last June and it really runs well with 84,700 miles on it now. Light Blue with Navy leather and electric rear seats. I have tried to post pictures in the gallery but cannot get it to work for me. John |

Of all the SDLs I've parted/have seen parted, none have had the trans panel.
SDL is nice, I picked up mine last July I think.
