300SD - pick this one apart, please

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4621257470&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmotors.search.ebay.com%3A80%2F%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D4621257470%26fvi%3D1

Curious what you can find wrong with it - repaint (b/c of the black bumpers)?

Heh that car is helping me decide if I want black or grey lower body cladding

Damn that paint looks nice...I am a huge sucker for gloss black

My dream car (cept the grey interior)

The trunk carpet is missing or just not pictured.

No engine or underbody shots.

The paint may "look" nice, but the overspray on the door strikers on the front and rear doorjambs is indicative of cheap paintwork.

No engine shots. Tired netting behind front seats could be consistent with reported mileage, though not indicative of great care.

Here we go. For starters another ebay deal. Paint is shiny so will probably bid really higher than it's worth. Since ebay car you have to go see or hire someone responsible to check it out properly. Just my opinion but should not the seats still look brand new at 160k? Sounds like a car dealer to me as well. Guess am just on old cynic when it comes to ebay .If I have a really nice car in my possesion and I want to sell it would go almost instantly to a local person for a fair price to both parties. Why would I need Ebay? Carfax is basically a joke nowdays as far as certifying milage. Even the so called records can be a come on type of thing. The only way to truly find out about a car on ebay is go see yourself or use a paid second party unfortunatly or otherwise it's just a crap shoot. Remember you asked and when it comes to ebay I freely admit to being a cynic. If you want to locate a really good car like it or not through the mercedes club of america is probably where to start looking. They know where the good ones for sale are. As a general rule the really good cars are not on ebay. Although there are exceptions but it usually costs you to find out.

I don't want to buy it - I just liked it but it looked suspicious to me. My rule: never buy a car off e-bay (or anywhere for that matter) that you haven't seen personally and inspected. With an MB, you need to go further and talk to the car's mechanic too.

Cool Hmmm lets see.

This is just what I see.

1. At least 2 different tire brands ( daton, michelin )

2. Paint over the oil change sticker on the door jam.

3. Oil or fuel spots under the car. Maybe from another car?

4. Drivers seat leaned way back. What some of my friends would call a getto lean.

5. The guy taking pictures got his leg in one of the shots. Wearing shorts.

6. Lots of pictures of everything but the engine.

Looks to me like someone is trying to polish a turd. Its still gonna stink!

Wood around the corner of passenger AC vent is split.

Bird ***** on the roof for the photos and I don't like the painted bumpers.

Ad says that it is an 8 cyl engine.
