Does 85 300SD have "after glow" GP's?
I've been reading about GPs and "after glow" and cutting the purple wire.
Is this necessary with my 126? It's a 85 300SD with a 617 engine Thanks for the info. I am operating in cold climates. To make this car a viable winter commuter car.. I may even go with a heater from www.espar.com JP |

You can get the same effect by turning the key into the preglow position a few times before starting whenever cold weather arises. You don't need "after glow" in hot weather, all it would do then is just wear out your glow plugs faster.
