An '85 300D with a claimed 159K miles was listed by the original owner in the Bay Area for $8000 I am tempted to go look at her, Hey my wife might beat me (or worse!) if I buy another one!

I'm new to this diesel thing and admit I know vey little but I must have got a pretty good deal on mine. I've only had it for a week, picked it up from the orginal owner 1982 300D, 124K, for $1600. Wish I had a way to post a pic.

The wheels are definitely not to my taste, or the chrome wheel arch trims for that matter, but it sure does LOOK clean. I just noticed that the paint on the right side front fender looks as though it may have been painted poorly- seems to get darker towards the fender lip. May be a flaw in photo or light quality though. Im sure all of us could sit and pin point little flaws in the ad or picture though. Bottom line it looks clean!

that on my list ~~~ there was one here in PHX last month....131k and they wanted 1800.00......I was cash poor at the time or I woulda jumped on it!
