Are the Parts from a 83 and 85 300D Turbo Interchangeable?

I hav an 83 300D Turbo and found an 85 300D Turbo for parts. It has a lot of what I need, but in its condition is strictly a parts car. Are the parts interchangeable for the most part for mechanicle and trim?

Both W123 bodies right ?
and both with the same engine ? 617.952 ?

You will get a ton of useful parts from a donor in this case.

Go for it.
