Hey guys, I need a fuel pump!

Anyone have a good used fuel pump that will work on my '87 SDL? Thought I would check here before I shell out the bucks to have mine rebuilt...........thanks all!

What makes you say that yours is bad? It's very rare for an IP to suddenly dump without user fault involved.

I hope you have exhausted other options before an expensive pump change (Filters, clogged lines, bad fuel, water in fuel, bad shutoff valve, valve adjustment, timing chain stretch, etc.)

You do have a fuel pump. It's known as the lift pump, right?

It's attached to the side of the injection pump and usually has a hand primer built into the top of it.
