Tonight my Mercedes turned 300,000! She is the best car I’ve every had. Loyal like a pup.

I'm sure you guys know how this is, it’s like an anniversary, this poor old car has been trough a lot, and she still loves me, gets my butt to work every day! Just had to share the love.

just turned over 295,000. I'm looking forward to 300,000. Hopefully, I'll have the presence of mind to have a camera handy for that moment. At 320,000 (probably a year or two from now) I'll put in for my 500,000 km badge.

BTW, I rolled my last car ('86 Lincoln Town Car with 5-digit odo) over 100,000 miles in 2001. I wish I had taken a picture of that. I let her go a few weeks ago with 156,000 miles, engine and trans still strong, suspension ok (except for low front ride height from NAPA selling me the wrong springs, and an unexplained pull to the right) and electrical more or less gone from vibration and corrosion (years in the humid South).
