Heater Servo

Found a Heater Servo at a junk-yard for $8.-, looks like it is in good condition. No cracks and no coolant resedue around the servo. Inside the sevo I can see some smudge, what is the best way to clean the servo before I install it??

Everybody sick here about giving advise about the Heater Servo? Understandable, but annyway I got mine back to work for $8,-. and to think about it, I almost bought a used Servo for $230 on Ebay,

I know it's spring but I'm ready for the next winter...:D

be careful when you take it apart, and take really good notes on where stuff is, and the exact position, or there is a good chance that it won't work.

I installed it already, it's working, don't know for how long. I'm pretty good at taking things apart; the problem is putting it back together. :)

But I will take the old one apart, just to get an idea how the thing works.

I tore the one apart that i had in my 300CD, and I spent the longest time trying to get everything back together. I think I actually broke a piece on the little plunger, and the whole thing stopped working. I also think I didn't get some of the little vacuum lines inside it hooked back up right, so that is why I say take good notes :silly:
