Phil comes through again!

At least one chapter has now been closed in the continuing saga of Sybill the SDL's airconditioning when a compressor arrived on my doorstep yesterday afternoon. After two unsuccessful tries to get a decent compressor through a local supplier, early Tuesday morning I turned to Phil for a rebuilt Nippondenso 10C. The compressor arrived a day earlier than predicted, allowing me to install it last night, close the system and execute a (successful) leak test before leaving for the farm today (I'm getting pretty fast at R&Ring these compressors!!!) .

Thanks again Phil, for coming through one more time with quality parts and excellent customer service!!

That's very encouraging. I've bought parts twice now through Phil and have received top notch service.

I always try to because I'm impressed with how fast the service is. Its amazing how fast he ships the parts.

You simply just can't say enough good things. It is how we wish all businesses were run.

BTW, you need to call when you are looking for a part/price. ALL the parts I have just priced were quite a bit lower than the prices posted on the online catalog!
And remember, no tax and no shipping costs over a modest amount.

Phil is the best.....

Not only is service and price the best, but if he doesn't have the parts, he will direct you to who does. He directed me to a MB recycler who sold me a used rear bumper, when mine rusted off. That is more to expect from a guy that sells parts, and just and example of what a great guy Phil is.

It should make anyone who uses this site guilty for buying parts from any other source.

I must say that if you don't have a dealer near by, Phil is your best option. He starts your order quickly and gets the ball rolling for you. Yes, I make him work finding obscure parts, but he actually does it. It is comforting to have someone doing their job and working for you.

Phils Da Man

Always helps. Ships fast.

Have to agree with all

of the above. I don't even bother with other possible suppliers. Phil is definitly the only source you need to keep the old MB up to snuff.

Yep I spent a week screwing around with Autozone trying to get an alt for the SDL. It was the wrong one, but I saved $30! Gave up ordered proper one from Phil, installed less then 48 hours later.

Hassle free shopping and parts that fit and work the first time...priceless.

I agree! I've called/ordered through phil via the phone several times and he's a great guy! Super fast service and can always find parts! Like an OEM tranny pan last week at a great price! :D ;) Like was said above, if only all businesses were run that way!!!

Hope he's reading this!

one more good recommendation for Phil and fastlane - I always get the parts quicker than the date promised.
