Recommendations on Sheepskin Seat Covers?

Anyone have a recommended retailer or brand name for genuine sheepskin seat covers for my W210 E300DT? Thanks!

Five star for me.

I went with Five Star Sheepskins from Performance Products about 6 years ago. I think I paid around 200.00 to 250.00 for both fronts. May have paid too much, but didn’t know much about them and haven shopped for them since. These get brushed about once every two months and get pulled and thrown in the washer and then hung to dry every couple of years. Not sure if that’s recommended for real sheepskins or not but these still look great. Feel great, too.

I got mine from http://www.sheepskin.com/listItems.asp?displayType=Across&Cat=SC&CatDesc=Seat%20Covers&SubCat=PREM&SubCatDesc=Premium%20Seat%20Covers&Search=Link

The premium low back seat covers are the ones I have, I'm very satisfied with the overall product, very comfy, real sheepskins, good fit, and not a lot of money.

I got my covers locally but got my headrest covers to match from this guy.

Knew MB' needs pretty well. Good service; nice product; and it matched my burgandy seat covers exactly.

I bought a couple of sets from Colorado Sheepskin Co. (1-800-392-9665) for about $250 a pair. They seem to be very good quality.

DONT buy the synthetic wool ones from Performance Products. I bought them, they slide and don't wear very well at all. I was very dissapointed and I find them dangerous during spirited driving. My concerns were ignored by Performance Products. Very dissapointing product and more dissapointing customer service. When I have more funds, I will be buying sheepskins.com pieces.

So those low back covers fit the seat well? A couple of questions:;
*did you go with the traditional sheepskin color, or go for more of a color match. Anybody else ever bought a dyed sheepskin cover before? I have navy blue leather, and don't know if I would go traditional or dyed.
*How do they fit around the armrest mounting area?
*Do the fit snugly?
Thanks. Looks like a fair price....

I guess there is right and there is works. Yesterday I found a brand new Passenger side and basically new drivers side (came off of a 99 E320 and they work just fine) $25 bucks and besides a little wrinkel around the top by the headrest (I might just make a little mod) I'm going to be happy enough as they save from my jean studs, greasy legs, and that aweful sun.

I say when it comes down to it, anything will do but as they say some wear way faster and it may be right to get the right real one originally. But I would check your local paper/CL. I see them on there every once in awhile. Yesterday just happened to be my lucky day.

1. I got a dyed color, I think it's camel, or mushroom, perhaps pearl, I'm leaning more towards it being pearl.
2. There's no problems around the armrest mounting area. It fits fine.
3. They're snug all right, no sliding or anything like that.

You got that right !! .02 worth a million, I'd say.

I had them send me samples of that synthetic wool and the real thing from their 5-Star line before I bought. No comparison. Hence why I went with the real thing.
You’re right about their customer service. It s-cks.
Until you get the real ones, try a piece of that stuff you get for holding rugs in place on hard floors between the cover and the seat. I‘ve heard that works on covers that don‘t quite fit right. They sell it at Home Depot, WalMart, Target….

I'll be...it's the darned seat covers.

Funny - The wife just walked in while I was reading through this thread. Stood a moment looking over my shoulder. Then walked off mumbling something about short skirts and thongs.

Well - I’ll be...
Now I finally know why she like driving my old car !!
