I have drained my trans and torque converter. Will the torque converter
fill itself when I refill the trans through the dipstick pipe. Or do I have to
do something else? Thanks. Jay

Pour in 4 quarts then run start the vehicle and pour in the remaining 4 quarts. You need the trans pump running to pump the fluid back into the torque converter.
