300SD dash light problem - not the dimmer
I pulled out my dash (again) to replace some bulbs and try and troubleshoot my lack of dash lights. When I got the car, I had the shop "fix" the dash lights. 2 days out of the shop, they stop working. SOOOOO....I checked all the bulbs, bypassed the rheostat and reinstalled the dash. I believe everything is hooked up correctly. Well, no lights....
I also noticed I don't have any climate control lights either. I haven't checked the fuse yet because it started to rain pretty hard. My question is, if it is not the fuse, what else could it be...?....a bad lead, ground? I thought I had read somewhere that someone else had the same problem.... |

I thought the same thing. I would think there would be a wire that runs between the dash and the headlight switch....
Does anyone have a wiring diagram? My manual has not yet arrived. |
