TRANSMISSION FAILURE @ 75 642 !?!? -the rebuild begins

Well guys I got some of the worst news the other day. As the story goes: My 1991 350SD was not shifting into 2nd, right out of the blue one day. No slipping, no funny noises, running excellent beforehand, then all of a sudden no shift into 2nd.
I drove it (at 15MPH) to the most reputable transmission place in town to get a diagnosis. A day later the called me and said the transmission was not getting little to no vacuum. So they ordered the part, installed it and no change. I gave them the go ahead to pull the transmission. Soon after they removed the governor they noticed a gouge where the governor enters the transmission on the case. They found a small spring partially wrapped around the governor and a fragment of the governor broken in the pan.

Needless to say I need a new transmission case.

After he dropped that bomb shell he notified me that he is yet to locate a transmission case to replace the one that failed. Now we wait to hear from suppliers. The only positive is at least I'm getting some closure on what's going on.

Anyone know where I can find a case or good used transmission for my car ? Your input is appreciated
