Sport Spring question (Eibach / H&R)- w126
Does anyone know of a source for the Eibach Pro-kit springs for my '84 300sd?... apparently they have been discontinued. Tried Tire Rack, GPR, etc...
Question 2: H&R lists a spring for the 126 but excludes the diesel for some reason. Will they work anyway? Anyone running these? Thanks Brian |
No the diesel weighs too much.

Can someone give me an alternative...?
|
Possible lead might me www.epsparts.com if that works and Randy Steele is still there, a lot of people on the W126 coupes list including me, used him for W126 stuff. Great prices, well packed and cared enough to make sure a few extras, like washers etc and everything needed to install right were included, I was impressed
(nb) Prev owner put the eibachs on my car. Shop was Stuttgart Automotive in West Los Angeles |
Talk to the guys over at MBworld they are big into them.
Be warned these springs ride a bit stiff! Another solution would be to have custom springs made, probably for about 1/2 the cost of those H&R's to. |

Eibachs were supposed to be somewhat less stiff than the Intrax, H&R etc. I want some that are a little stiffer and lowered by only an inch, nothing radical. |
