Sport Spring question (Eibach / H&R)- w126

Does anyone know of a source for the Eibach Pro-kit springs for my '84 300sd?... apparently they have been discontinued. Tried Tire Rack, GPR, etc...

Question 2: H&R lists a spring for the 126 but excludes the diesel for some reason. Will they work anyway? Anyone running these?

Thanks
Brian

No the diesel weighs too much.

Can someone give me an alternative...?

Possible lead might me www.epsparts.com if that works and Randy Steele is still there, a lot of people on the W126 coupes list including me, used him for W126 stuff. Great prices, well packed and cared enough to make sure a few extras, like washers etc and everything needed to install right were included, I was impressed

(nb) Prev owner put the eibachs on my car. Shop was Stuttgart Automotive in West Los Angeles

Talk to the guys over at MBworld they are big into them.

Be warned these springs ride a bit stiff!

Another solution would be to have custom springs made, probably for about 1/2 the cost of those H&R's to.

My thoughts exactly! I'll call Coil Spring Specialties next week and speak with them. They made some 115 springs for me that turned out very well.
Eibachs were supposed to be somewhat less stiff than the Intrax, H&R etc. I want some that are a little stiffer and lowered by only an inch, nothing radical.
