Question Tune up

Before get a road for a trip of around 1600 miles, what the major points to take care in a tune up in a MB 1984 - 300SD with 220.000 miles on it?

Belts....Coolant...Engine Oil......Transmission Fluid.....Tire Pressure.....overall inspection. If everything checks out....you should be just fine. I've gone on trips 2x that long with mine and I only checked the oil/trannyfluid/tire pressure before I left. I guess I like to play it risky....

www.**************.com sells a book that you might find helpful. The title is "Diesel Performance Tuning & Repair." And they are currently waiving the usual shipping charge.

Most of the information in the book could be found by searchihg this site. But reading the book would be much faster.
