1992 300D w124
I broke the linkage rod that goes from the throttle linkage to the kickdown cable
Its the cable that crosses over the valve cover

Please Help....2 hours at dealer and they cant find the part

Wayne I hear yoiur frustation. Even after identified you will have to wait for it probably. Why not take a chance? Go online to a big mercedes salvage operation like potamac auto and get a price plus see if they will mail it out to you in an envelope or cardboard mailing tube. Even the dealers and company buy there I understand. They will understand the part you are talking about and probably be glad to sell it. You could have it in two days or less. That part has to be a non selling item unless they all break. Addsit may have it as well but their reputation is less than stellar. Perhaps someone will clue you in to a better source than I am aware of but potomac german auto should be a slam dunk. For feedback post how you were treated and if the price of part and mailing was fair. We should get a handle on how these very large salvage operations are treating their small customers. You also may want to use their phone numbers to make sure all questions are answered.
