W124 Fuel TAnk Coating?

Hello All:

I am planning on running WVO thru my 124 TD, but in a lot of research I have done I have noted some repeated problems regarding the w124 fuel tanks and using WVO in a single tank system.

Apparantly the issue is that MB uses a coating on the unside of the fuel tanks in this chassis that the glycerine in WVO disolves and puts through the system clogging things up.

I have read here that some members are having the same issue. Can anyone chime in??? Have you experienced these issues and what have you done to overcome them.

Have you had any issues with any solvants causing a problem? IS there even a coating?

P.S. Heating has no effect on the fuel tank coating being disolved, it does so heater or not.

Thanks,
Bill
