2500 RPMs at 70 MPH, does that sound right to you?

So is 2500 RPMs at 70 MPH right for my '93 300D?

I'm getting 2800rpm at 75MPH

My 1987 300D runs at about 2800 rpm at 75MPH. Sounds like you are in the right ball park.

yep my 85 300D runs at 2900 RPMs at 70 mph

sounds right...

I get 2700 rpm at 75 and 3000 at 80 on my 87 300TD so sounds right
