RS Seatbelt Replacement 1985 300D?

We are just getting our 1985 300D Turbo back on the road after a front end crash. Two years later: the last and possibly the most important things installed are two used seatbelts. The warning buzzer will not stop when the key is out. Does this mean the crash sensor also needs to be replaced(which I have from the junk car the seatbelts came from)? Also, where is the crash sensor located in a 1985 300D turbo ? And where is the crash sensor in a 1985 190D ? Or can these seatbelts/sensor even be interchanged? There is actually a warning about this on the mast. The RS system played a big part of saving my fathers life and I just want to make sure it works. Thanks
