Pressure Plate Bolt Torque

What is the torque spec on the six bolts for the pressure plate on a 240D?

It's an '80 (w123/OM615) if it makes a difference.

Someone asked the same question in 2002 and no one answered it.

hmm

odd. the manual does not state this spec... the instrustions for changing disc says to tourque the PP to specified tourque, but no mention of where to find that spec.
maybe when I am awake better I can find it.

I found the clutch cover bolt spec. that MAY be it..

odd thing is in the instructions it states Pressure plate, not clutch cover, but here you go.
24Nm or 18Ft-lbs

since I cannot find exact tourque specs,

I would put blue loctite on each bolt, and tighten until full face contact, in star pattern, then snug up a little. these are small bolts, DO NOT over tighten them.

The pressure plate is the clutch plate. Thanks for the numbers vstech, this thread has always been invaluable to me
