158K. Looks pretty nice. I used to want one of these pretty badly.

Just don't get one with AdBlue (2009 and newer?). The V6 is basically a V version of the CDI (inline 6), and a pretty good engine. Things to watch out for are oil cooler seals, and 722.9 trans problems. Both expensive fixes, but not enough to shy away from the car if gotten at a good price......Rich

Is there some innuendo in the details?

Yup. What, he put the $3k into the tranny, bought the tires, and then the head cracked? Oh golly, that's some lousy luck right there.

The title certificate that is shown in the pictures indicates a change of ownership in March 1984, of a 1981 car.

Nice looking car at any rate. Wonder how it runs.

I don't understand why that registration doesn't prove its one owner.

The original buyer got a 3 year loan and paid the car note off in 84 and got the title a registration in his name.

This is what happens when the lein holder is removed from the registration...

One owner but how many flippers? If the pink slip is signed, is it being sold by Hazel Louie or someone who has the keys but hasn’t transferred/registered it? I’d make sure Hazel is still alive before putting a date beside her name.

53k 1983 300d... Not really enjoying the lack of details, pictures, and paper proof in the add. But the seats look like 53k to me I guess.

Also, I don't like 9k for it. Something just seems dull about it.

But like I said the add is bad. A full set of good pictures and some detailed info And this could sell.
