Replacing nylon throttle bushing in '84 300D
123 Chassis, 617 Engine.
I removed the throttle bushing and holder that is screwed the firewall today- connects the pedal lever to the rest of the throttle linkage. It looks like this: Link The only part that need replacing is that white nylon bushing. Here are some pictures of mine: Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 As you can see, that bushing is totally gone. I can either make a new one, get it from the above link for $$$, or I'm hoping this is a standard part I can get at an auto store. I don't have any plastic round stock, so I'd prefer to get it from an auto store. Does anyone know if this is a standard part? I've called around, but all of them want me to bring it in- so it sounds like it's fairly obscure. Do any of you know where these can be had locally? The car has been rendered undrivable by removing this part, so I'm hoping to get this fixed fairly soon. Thanks!
