To Return or Not to Return; Where does your fuel go?

I am getting ready to do a heated wvo conversion, and my question is this: Who has the return fuel going back to the tank (6-port) and who just loops the return back to the suction side of the lift pump. I am leaning toward the looped return, mostly because I think that this will lead to a lesser chance of polymerization in the tank. What advantages of the tank return will I be loosing by doing the looped return?
Thoughts, Experience?
