Got spare parts?

I was wondering if anyone had a few extra parts they might be willing to part with.
I found the cause of my dash lights not working, the dimmer is shot, If anyone has a spare to fit an '80 240?

I also decided I might help my power problem by changing out that camshaft that looks like it has a worn lobe on #1 intake,(visible ridge on side of lobe where it doesn't wear) if anyone has one for a 300 (617) non-turbo. Not sure of the exact engine year, but it had some fuel hoses on it with '86 date codes when I got it. It's now in the '80 240.

I would be interested in a good lift pump also, the three bolt one, newer design.

Also if anyone is interested we might be able to work out a trade for some 240 engine parts, I still have the remains of the old engine.

What size are the 12 point head bolts? I need to get a tool for them.

You can always bypass the dimmer. It will stay of full with the headlights, but it's free.

If you do a search on dimmers, the usual solution is to bypass the dimmer instead of replacing it, they are never too bright.

While I agree with the other two posters on this... if you really want one you might find a generic one at Radio Shack... A used one will be 25 years old..LOL
