Hello all,
I have had my 1985 300sd for going on a year and have never had a working tach. Haven't really had the time to want to try to fix it, but I have occasionally searched for troubleshooting tips on this site.

Anyhow, the tach is completely dead and my ABS light is on all the time. I think I may have remembered reading a thread on these being related, but could not find it again in my searches.

I had replaced a small red fuse on top of a resistor (in the box in front of the master cylinder) when I first got the car, I am thinking I had heard this may be related to my tach/ABS light problem.
