Replacing cracked vacuum lines
The auto door locks in my '83 300D do not function as expected.
The vacuum lines within the doors/body have at least a few cracks or leaks. Is it worth (easier) replacing all the lines within the doors/body? Or should I take the search and destroy approach? Thanks

It's unusual for the hard plastic lines to break/leak, the problem is almost always one (or more) or the actuators or the soft rubber connectors. Do a search on vacuum leaks, there are postings on the best methods to track then down. Some folks replace all the connectors as they go along.
