1999 E300 Climate Control

Hello All,
Recently had problems with my Air conditioning.
The passenger side vent would all of a sudden blow hot .......This would happen on occation.....Then at one point last week the drivers side would blow hot and the passenger side cold?????
On saturday the system shut down. The electro magnetic clutch will not engage. I pulled the error codes.
B1231 ECT sensor
B1419 A9K1 Clutch
B1459 K2/A1 series interface to instrument cluster.
How do I test the system now that I have the codes?
Does anyone know how to disconnect the small connector on the clutch without breaking it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

It may be a climate control box that is bad. They are easy to replace with the radio removal tools.

control box

Thank you Steve,
Im attemping to remove the connector on the clutch. I can send 12 volts to it direct to see if in fact it works. If it activates then for sure the control box would be suspect. Does the control box interface with the clutch direct.? I cant find a fuse or relay for it. I do not have a wiring diagram......
Does anyone else know?
Thank you again Steve for your input

Climate control Module

Does anyone know, if the Climate control Module is replaced does it need to be reset or programed to the car? Is there a procedure for this?
Thanks in advance for your help..

No, they are plug n play. It takes under 5 mins. Just find a good used or new one.
