Engine dilemmas go turbo or not to....

I would love to upgrade to turbo but... The engine I have now has next to no blow by. What to do? Chances of me finding a turbo engine in a similar condition is probably going to be pretty rare right? How much of a factor is blowby?

If it isn't broke why fix it? I have a turbo, but I certainly wouldn't mind having a non-turbo model because the turbo is just another moving part that can break and costs good money to repair/replace. Sure, the turbo is a little faster, but I am sure 99% of us didn't buy these cars for their wonderful accelleration

At sea level I'm sure the non-turbo is fine. Up in Colorado, I feel sorry for all my non-turbo friends -- slower than slow, you need a turbo just to merge reasonably on the highway.

Yes but 99% of us didnt buy a 300d with a stick either. The car is fantastic to drive I cant wait to try the lowend torque in the curvey mountains we got here. I just wish I'd had more vrooom. I have the lower ratio rear diff and off the line its just pokey.

Whats your altitiude? Atlanta is ~1200ft above sealevel. Hardly at sealevel. Also mine does not have ALA so I have no clue how its compensating.

Denver is 5280' above sea and can go higher than 8,000 over I-70 in the mountains.

the turbo motor i believe will feel a bit slower off the line.
