Sorry if this doesn't belong in this forum. I wasn't sure where to post it. Anyone got any aftermarket sources for rocker panels for an 80 300SD?

They list for 71.95 new each at cross canada auto or body panels. As you are aware most mercedes rockers are 14 gauge as they are structural. Tom Walgamuth, I spelled his last name wrong once before and just hope not this time. Anyways, we corresponded about where their items where distributed in the states and think he located at least one distributor. Drop him a pm if he does not respond. He is a pretty heavy site participant and very helpful. I have found their actual selling price all over the place I usually pay 40% less but others experiences vary. You also might pick up the information from the archives. Really quite cheap over original replacement cost from a dealer. For practical purposes the same item. Best of all they are available. It's funny when something is not available or on long unknown availability back order. Then the price is not as important. Just human nature probably. Bert, a request like yours does belong on the forum as others may not have been aware of the availability of aftermarket panels either.
