What did I break?

87 300D turbo. Trying to remove the ALDA to adjust it. On the 603 it is located under the intake, so you have to remove it to adjust. Got my wrenches on it and began to turn, heard a crack. Not like a nut breaking loose but like plastic cracking. What did I break?

Not sure but probably the rack sensor plug. No worries it is only for the egr function which you are able to take off easily on that car.

I don't have a pic, I can't see what cracked. It was as I was turning the wrench and the ALDA turned with it. The car runs the same, slow up to 20 mph.
