1983 300sd starting issue

hi
i have a 300sd thats turning over, but not starting, the glow plug light is not comming on, the is ample fuel in the injectors, and i changed the glow plugs in attempt to solve the problem, im now guessing its a fuse or realy, does anyone have info on the relays in the fuse box, and where the fuse for the ignition realy is??
Cheers
Jay

Sounds like a possible glow plug issue, but I am also curious as to the temperature where you are at. In 'warm' weather I can start both of my Mercs without using the glow plugs when the engine is cold, but they run rough for a short time.
