Ok, so i was looking at the threads b/c i wanted to clean my banjo bolt out one day because i was really bored. so after finding this one thread about the banjo bolt i decided i was going to clean it out. turns out i took the wrong banjo bolt out. i took the one out from the top of the fuel filter housing, not the big one that screws the secondary fuel filter on, but the one right beside it, now i have this unstopable leak, i put a set of crush washers on the top and bottom of the bolt and all thouhg it has helped alot, i still get a couple drips on the ground which i want to fix
can anyone PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I put one under the top of that bolt and one on the bottom, should i just put a crush washer under the top of that bolt and put a regular washer on the bottom?

i must also mention that this did not leak before. when i took the bolt off originally, there were 2 washers that did not look like crush washers, unless they were really really worn down, i mean to the point they looked like normal washers

No, I don't think anyone will counterdict me saying that crush washers should go on both sides. Other than that you can find out the tightening torque spec, and make sure they are tight enough. Once on another car the new fuel filter leaked, I really had to tighten the heck out of it but it stopped. The risk of this is stripping the bolt or the threads of the hole. I'm just saying I did this once and it worked, not that you should do it. The crush washers won't be good if it is super tight and still leaks, don't reuse them if it is already really tight and still leaks. I notice that crush washers are made of different material sometimes, if you end up getting new ones mabee a different material will work better.

ok, just to let you guys know, i think i fixed it. it just so happens the same day i fix that banjo bolt is the same day i put on a new radiator hose and coolent went everywere. so i think some of the lil puddles were from the coolent falling off, today i have seen no leaks, just old ones in the parking lot that i thought were mine. so i think im back in business, thanks all for your help!!!
