82 300CD vacuum and value questions

I have an 82 300CD(turbo) and I was wondering what it's worth. Everything is in working order(Starts and runs even in cold weather, A/C works, etc) paint and interior good for daily driver. Looks gorgeous from 20ft.

Also, having vacuum troubles. Went through the vacuum system when we bought it 10 years ago and did door locks actuators and seat lock actuators. Never did get the seat locks to engage, but everything else worked. I'm going through it again anticipating selling it. New IP shut off valve(torn diaphram), new trans modulator cap, and that line should be leakless. Now working on the other line. It has about 6 colored vacuum lines. The yellow door lock lines are leakless, and the light blue seat lock lines are leakless. However the brown, brown/blue, and green/yellow going into the dash from the engine compartment leak. What are they and what is most likely the cause(s)?

Exclamation

For curiosity I pulled the green/yellow HVAC line and plugged it, as it seemed to be by far the biggest leak. The vacuum system now works. Door locks almost snap open and closed, and the engine shuts off within 1 second.

I'm still in need of a value however.

It's very difficult to put a value on it because of the lack of the following critical information:

1) Mileage on vehicle
2) Maintenance history
3) Condition of body and interior. A "20 ft paint job" is really insufficient for pricing purposes.

If you can take some detailed, closeup photos (not the 20' kind) and post them on the site, then some knowledgable members will make an estimate for you.

Without same, the vehicle is worth somewhere between $1500. and $8000. It's just not possible to narrow it down further without more data.

Hmmmm...coupes are fun to work on. What state are you in?

Look at this lesson to help you with the vacuum troubleshooting.

Texas, been using diesel giant's site quite a bit. I hope that was sarcasm on fun to work on. I now hate vacuum anything. It no longer shuts down the engine... again.

As for the pics they are in my gallery:

Wow... they're dirt cheap on ebay. Ofcourse mine doesn't have body cancer or collision damage. And half the 300cd's on ebay are 80 models... I thought they only made them from 82-85?
