Just down the road from me I came across this beauty. FYI - I have NO connection, involvment, partnership, agreement, or any other words you choose with this car. It is NOT listed in any local papers YET.

1982 240D 4 Speed 150K
Original Texas Car - Brought to Upstate NY about 3-4 years ago
No Dash Cracks - Interior VGC - Minor rip in Drivers seat
Repainted 2-3 years ago - VG Job
It may have spent 1 winter on the road - current owner did not drive it in the Winter.
Body is very solid and clean - Jack Points are SOLID
DOES NOT SMOKE
Electricals work, windows work, dash lights work
Sunroof needs some help - motor runs - sometimes opens and closes - sometimes not.
Starter sometimes does not engage - although it was replaced within the past couple of years.
Radio works.
Fresh brakes with the past year.
Interior lights fixed.
Speedo fixed
Shift boot needs to be replaced.
Noticed a couple of minor leaks around the engine - nothing unexpected.
Minor water leak above passenger dash - drain holes plugged - easy fix.
Fog Lights need to be replaced - one lens popped out after I closed one of the doors - My Bad

I drove this car this evening - What a thrill to drive a 4 Speed - Shifts are very smooth and consistant. Although 30mph was the best I could do on a steep grade in 2nd. Getting to 55 was very easy - Again - NO SMOKE.

I spent over an hour with the owner this evening just having good conversation. This is a nice car.
