1982 300SD output flange splines & retaining nut are damaged 722.303 trans

Picked up an 82 300SD Saturday. Owner said trans was bad...wouldn't go in any gear.

It has 168K miles, the engine starts in about 1 second when cold, no rust, just some parking lot dings, interior's kind of rough, but everything works except the air (imagine that).

Got it home & just out of curiosity I put it in gear.
It didn't go any where, but I could see the tach & speedo going through the gears.

Got under it while it was still on the trailer & to my surprise the output flange had pulled back out of the tail shaft & was no longer engaging the output shaft.

Today I pulled the drive shaft to get a better look.
Looks like the flange splines & retaining nut are damaged, but not the output shaft.

The retaining nut had backed off allowing everything to pull back out of the trans. Anyone ever seen this before?

I'm now in need of an output flange & retaining nut for a 722.303 trans.
Anyone know of a good source.
We live out in the boonies, not too many MB's in the yards around here.

Here's a few pics of the damaged parts.
