First, I would never buy anything from a seller that hides his/her feedback. Never.
I also don't like the tough auction words up front. Screams prick!
One small thing that is questionable: It is mentioned that the drivers window has been out for 3 years. On one pic with the door opened, for seemingly no reason, there appears to be a towel covering the lower door jam. My impression would be that it is hiding a giant rust area under open window.

Car is junk! Love the Euro seats, though.....

Post 1980 cars that start in 123.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx are euros. I think almost all pre 80s started in 123 on the vin.

The pushbutton climate control and vinyl/leather aren't positive indicators of a USA car. I have an 84 240D that is most defintely a Euro but, has a PB CCU and MBTex.

I'm guessing its no Euro. I swaped my nice,.... (butt ugly color, light, yellow/green, barf) Euro interior into another 240 where it didnt look too bad. Well, sombody liked it once, right? Coulda happened here

Theres allot of evedence pointing to ..US CAR... I wouldnt consider buying it though, Its got "scam" written all over it Pics are dark for a reason

Did you get a good look at the Odometer? Lots of water spots on the plastic.Wood looks like faded vinyl laminate. Car looks like it has not moved from that spot in more than 3 years. I wonder how the tranny shifted with no movement from the wheels noted?

This guy is about 30 mins from me. he's listed the car 4 times. Its junk.

The guy has about 20 other rust buckets sitting around. There was 2" of water in the floorboard in the back when I went to see it.

My Euro car has the original owner's name stamped into a metal plate inside the driver door jam, maybe another hint.

Not true. WDB123......

AFAIK No euro NA was sold with an automatic as the only NA's in production after 81 were for taxis and were all sticks. Yet the fabric interior....

Look, it is far more likely that US spec lights and bumpers were added to car to import it than the seats and various trim pieces. Right? Looks like inner door panels are Euro, and again, lets not forget the NA 617 along with idle knob on dash. Those would have been swapped also.

My 82 is NA and definitely not a taxi.

The WDB is standard on all models worldwide (something Daimler Benz I was told). I was speaking of the vehicles actual VIN.
