well the way my path seens to unfold it seems that i'll be doing alot of both kinds of driving wich is why I am looking for the best of both worlds.The diff I am currently running is from a 1983 300dt.

That does seem low - here is my car -45mm with a spring kit.

All that goes through my mind when I see lowered cars is all the damage I'd have taken on hitting some of the things I have with the car sitting that low....most recently would have been a dead deer carcass in the middle of the freeway at night, my high riding SD bounced right over it, had I been that low....it'd probably have destroyed all kinds of stuff... Then theres potholes......road crud......having to drive up/down curbs occassionally.....speedbumps.....etc....

I do have a 1982 240d auto trans parts car in the back 40 stable.I am thinking of putting the springs in my 77,is it hard to change out springs?
