Headlight aimer vacuum contraption.
So I have the switch on my console and I looked at the lights but it looks like a vacuum hose deadends right before the headlights which dont seem to move. I guess when they federalized the car they took away this option? Do I need to find the euro headlights to restore? And I will guess the made in China ones on ebay wont do the job?

To make the vacuum feature work you need genuine Bosch or Hella eurolights with the vacuum adjustment feature. On the inside behind the lens' is a pod, thats how you know if you have it. The us lights don't have the feature and most euro lights I've seen don't as well. If you see some on ebay ask for a picture of the back of the lens' behind the removable panel. I made the mistake of not asking so my 81 euro has the wrong lights. Good luck.
